About to finish preparing the manuscript draft about 2D siloxene material. It goes back to 2012 when I first prepared a report about the 2D siloxene for the MC-CAM annual meeting. It took around 11~12 years till I reached this far. It took around 3~4 years to prepare the manuscript since the first draft was started in 2020. Don't know why it took so long. In the meantime, such a long time makes sense because the manuscript contains around 30 figures and over 80 references. It is probably me who is slow to understand how things work. Should have been done much earlier to make this helpful for those who contributed to the work. But it's got to be this way to achieve high-level content. Overwhelmed by the fact that I still have more than 10 manuscripts waiting for me to finish. Hope I can enjoy the painful writing in the near future.
